What Do We Do? • The Oversight Board: • Appoints and provides oversight and support to the Regional Youth Ministry Facilitator • Supports the Regional Youth Council and Youth Leaders • Nurtures and supports young people to a life of faith and fellowship before God. • Oversees, encourages and resources youth ministry in the region

  3. We went to 3 T Pilgrimage in Rotorua“Last year’s Pilgrimage was really good fun. I got to meet with people from other tikanga’s, and really get to know them. Everyone was split up into teams, In order to complete each activity everyone had to work as a team, whether it was solving problems or doing a challenge”.Simon Dawson.

  4. Who Are We? • Regional & Diocesan Youth Ministry Facilitators • We would like to have: • 2 reps each from Napier, Hastings, Central HB, Southern HB, Youth Leaders, Youth • An EIT Chaplaincy rep

This Regional Conference appoints to HBAYM Oversight Board • Sandra Marsh (Board Chair) • Tim Barker (Hastings) • John Tovey (Napier) • Sue Johns (Cathedral) • Chris Malcolm (EIT Chaplaincy) • David Harris youth rep • Jenny Dawson (Bishops Chaplain) • Craig Smith (Ruahine) • Other nominees from the floor, we would like to ratify that these people be confirmed as duly elected.

  8. In October we are launching a new Youth programme called LT4 Youth.This will follow on from our Regional Camp at Tuki Tuki Valley.Here's a word from our first participant David Harris.(Film clip)
