  2. A Little About Me My name is Miss Darlene Wilson. I recently graduated from Murray State University with a Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education. I grew up in the small town of West Frankfort, IL. My favorite color is Red. I love fall, football, fishing, music, family, and friends. I have one sister (one brother-in-law and one baby nephew). I am SO excited to be your teacher and cannot wait to get to know each and every one of you!

  3. What Each of You Will Need: • #2 Pencils • Pencil Box • Eraser • 5 inch Blunt Tip Scissors • 2 Glue Sticks • 4 oz. Glue Bottle • 24 Pack Crayons • Markers • Colored Pencils • Folders • 3 Boxes of Kleenex • Antibacterial Soap Hand Sanitizer • 2 Paper Towel Rolls

  4. Classroom Rules: • We raise our hands to speak. • We work quietly at our seats. • We use voices soft and sweet. • We keep our places tidy and neat. • We are helpful, friendly, and fair. • We take turns and willingly share.

  5. Our Checklist for Learning: • Ability to tie shoes on own. • The English Alphabet. -Meeting the Letter People. -Writing letters. -Making words. • The ability to count up to . -As well as writing them. -Using that math to measure and do other activities. • Touching on basic addition. • Nursery rhymes and other educational music. • Being able to work with others and function while in group settings. • Communication skills with peers as well as adults.

  7. Again, welcome to Kindergarten and thank you all for coming! I cannot wait to start this new year with your children! Feel free to explore the classroom, mingle with other parents, partake in the refreshments, and ask me any questions that you may have!
