  2. Arizona Assessment Collaborative (AZAC) • 17 member districts dedicated to working together and pooling resources to develop “instructionally useful” assessments • TESD joined in July 2007 • Provides 3 reading test forms with AIMS correlations • Provides Math Item Bank

  3. TESD 2007-2008 Projects • Implemented the use of AZAC Reading Form A (October & June) and Form B (February) in grades 3-8 • Implemented EDesk Scoring and Reporting Software • Initial Development of a Data Warehouse For All Student Achievement Data • Develop and pilot Summative & 3rd quarter Mathematics benchmark assessments

  4. Questions About Student Achievement • How much growth have our students made between test administrations? • How are our students performing relative to how they performed on AIMS in Spring 2007? • How well do our ELL students perform on reading tests in the upper grades?
