Tucker High School - International Baccalaureate Diploma Program – 2019-2020 School Year Get PE Exemption from Freshman Year. 135 hours/one season of sport or marching band replaces the second PE. *In order to address those students who may not have had Language Part 3 – they will have to take it 7th period and take Accelerated physics 2nd period.
Registration and summer school • The counseling office is open in June 3-July 25 M/Th9am-12 pm. You will need to bring a copy of your acceptance letter and documentation listed on DeKalb County’s website if you are not yet registered at Tucker High School. • If you would like to take Spanish/French I over the summer, you will need to register with Georgia Virtual Academy or Georgia Flex Academy on your own. Semester A and B are required. • Freshmen PE/Health Summer School information is available on Tucker High School’s website.
Pre-IB Contract • I understand that if my attendance, behavior, or grades fall below an acceptable level that I can be put on probation. Attendance below an acceptable level is defined as having more than five (5) absences—excused or unexcused—or more than five (5) tardies in any class in one semester. A grade below an acceptable level is defined as having a 72 or below as a final average. I understand that I must maintain a 3.0 GPA. If I do not improve in the identified areas, I understand that I can be removed from the program.
