  4. StudentVUE Parent and Student Resources Course History Course Requests College Scholarships Edit Profile to match Scholarships to you. Hint – be patient, it opens a little slowly…. Only place to find your Counselor name (and a link to email him/her/them) Find your GPA, Class Rank, and Grades Track your completed credits Unofficial Transcript Hint – turn the detail buttons on to see everything. • • • • • • • • 4

  5. A valuable resource for you! Always sign-in with your district-assigned credentials. Go to Student Resources and click the Major Clarity Logo. Do not use a personal email address to login to MajorClarity. 5

  6. First – Update ECAP! Favorite Careers and Colleges My Career Plan Academic Plan Edit or add Senior Classes Favorite Careers and Colleges Edit Career Plan, include new Signature 6

  7. Navigate to the Academic Planning tab of the main menu.

  8. If you need to change pathways or have NOT chosen a pathway – select a pathway To make your selection, click the Change pathways button.

  9. Review completed classes in 9th, 10th, and 11th StudentVUE is most accurate credit tracker! 9

  10. Add Senior Scheduled Courses for Both Semesters • Scroll down to see grade 12 • Add courses based on subject. • Click “Edit Courses” at the bottom of the 12th grade column 10

  11. Click on the course you want to change, delete it and/or add a new course. If you search or change by subject it will be easier!

  12. Once you have added courses to your plan of study, navigate to the My Career Plan tab.

  13. To finish building your Academic Career Plan, edit or add information to each section of the My Career Plan tab: ● CAREER GOALS ● EDUCATION GOALS ● CLUBS & ACTIVITIES ● TEST SCORES (optional but encouraged) ● WORKPLACE READINESS (optional)

  14. Signature To finalize and update the plan, Clear your signature and add a new one. Save signature. 14

  15. Review To view a PDF version of your Academic Career Plan document, click the View Career Plan button. 15

Why connect it to M.C.? • Teachers and Counselors are able to track students easier and more conveniently. • Students must first create their account on Common App. • Connecting your Common App Account to M.C. • It is a single online college application form used by over 900 colleges and universities. One application –vs- many. Application fees are sometimes higher through Common App. Great for people applying to many schools, especially those outside of AZ or competitive • • • 20

  21. Scholarships!!! Check the Financial Resources on Major Clarity – “see more filters” to expand the choices and customize the search to fit your skills and strengths! Check StudentVUE under Parent and Student Resources – College Scholarship Eligibility • Edit your Profile • First Generation College Student (do your parents have a college degree) – YES or NO • Financial Eligibility – YES or NO – Low Income Family (Free Lunch?) • Enrollment Status – this means when you attend college in the Fall do you plan to enroll full-time or part-time.   22. Postsecondary = Life AFTER High School Still Unsure? Continue to research careers. Consider more assessments Try Pipeline Arizona – more info. on AZ jobs, trade schools, etc. Postsecondary Exploration Select “see more filters” to search colleges fitting your personal criteria. “Favorite” those you are interested in. Check things like – admission rates, test requirements, and cost Use the M.C. comparison tool • • • • • • • 22
