Business SchoolsOverview • In the world we have around 15,000 Business Schools (10 years ago, less than 10,000) • Only 3 countries have more than 1,000 (US; Brazil and India) • Brazil population of 180 million is 40% of Latin America • In Brazil 4 million students are in higher education • 14% in Business Schools, the highest share both in students and in number of programs MBA explosion! Since 2000, offerings increased from 100 to 6,000 programs.

  5. Brazil Juan Quirós is President of Brazilian Trade and Investment Promotion Agency (APEX-Brasil). Industrial Engineer by University of Miami and post graduated in Business in the FGV. Extensive experience on trade promotion, directing companies and trade departments of Brazilian business organizations, such as: São Paulo Industry Federation - FIESP/CIESP. Trade and Investments in Brazil Scenario: Letícia Costa is President of Booz Allen Hamilton do Brasil and leads the Industrials Group in Latin America having served the Board of Directors. Production Engineer by EPUSP - Universidade de São Paulo and MBA by Cornell University. In Booz Allen, she has completed a wide range of assignments – from strategy development to implementation - in Europe and South America.
