This will allow you to minimize having to problem solve or clean up errors, record by record. There is a column at the end of each EMIS_R/Data Collector report that is titled:\ Record Is Valid There will be a yes or no in the column

  14. ODDEX- SCR Exporting Data Summary • Log into • Click on the Ohio District Data Exchange (ODDEX) Icon • Click on the SCR • Determine Search Criteria An Example: • Click Find to Query Information • Click Export to Create a CSV File • Save the File as an Excel File & Simplify Data

Minimizing Common CTE ODDEX Errors EPCT & RFIC • Two Most Common ODDEX ERRORS in my District • EPCT (Exceeded Percent of Time) • Run a report in your Student Software System with student status, program, building and percent of time. Use the report to find discrepancies. Examples: Make sure half day students are not being marked at 100% of time. Make sure Satellite % were entered correctly. • RFIC (Received from Check) • Run a report in your Student Software System with student home school, EMIS situation, district of residence, and how received IRN.

  19. Assessment Reports ODDEX EMIS_R Great for looking at only the test you have administered as a District Can be more user friendly • Great for looking at a student complete list of Assessments from all schools. • Has an export tool

  23. ODDEX Records Export Summary • Log into ODDEX • Click on Records • Click on Bulk Export • Enter Query Information • Create a CSV File with SSID’s for Assessment Data • Upload File Using Choose File • Click Upload • A TXT File will appear
