The GOAL MUSC strives to provide an environment that ensures the safety of all individuals by promoting a Culture which is proactive and non-punitive to facilitate the reporting of hazards, errors, near-misses, concerns and otherwise unsafe conditions within the Medical Center. Employees are required to report Patient Safety issues or concerns to their Manager, MUHA Risk Management at 2-8830, or call the MUHA Compliance hotline at 1-800-296-0269. Employees may report a Patient Safety or quality of care concern directly to the Joint Commission on Accreditation of Hospitals at 1-800-994-6610. Reporting of Patient Safety or quality of care concerns will not result in retaliation or discipline.
