THE MAGIC AUDIENCE Q4 2013 • Magic reaches 1.8 million listeners every week. • Magic listeners tune in for a total of 9.8 million hours every week. • Magic has a share of 4.8%. • 55% of Magic listeners are aged 15-44 and 45% aged 45+ • 51% of Magic listeners don’t listen to Heart or Capital. • The average age of a Magic listener is 42. • Magic 105.4 reaches 2.8 million listeners across the UK • Listeners across the country tune into Magic 105.4 for 15m hours each week. PROGRAMMING HIGHLIGHTS • Magic Breakfast with Neil Fox reaches 709,000 listeners, and has an audience share of 3.9%, between 0530-0900. • More Music Drivetime with Angie Greaves reaches 587,000 and has a 4.6% market share on weekdays at 1700-2000. • Gary Vincent attracts 733,000 listeners each week and is commercial market leader amongst adults 25+ with 685,000 tuning in between 0900-1300. • Paul Phear is the commercial number one for adults 25+ between 1300-1700, pulling in an audience of 699,000 and a market share of 4.6% of this audience. • Mellow Magic is the number 1 commercial music show every evening for total hours and market share. • Denise van Outen has 130,000 listeners every Saturday 1300-1500, tuning in for 138,000 hours each week. • Kim Wilde reaches 276,000 listeners between 1000-1400 on Sundays, and has a market share of 4.5%. • Rick Astley draws an audience of 130,000 tuning in each week and a market share of 5.1%.
