It is a careful, detailed, systematic examination and interpretation of a particular body of material in an effort to identify patterns, themes, biases and meanings » (Leely & Ormrod, 2005; Neuendorf, 2002). 

  7. The Sample • 9 articles retrieved from each newspaper. • 3 from the beginning of the war. • 3 from mid-war. • 3 post-war.
