  1. Rome Trip Meeting 5/9 Benvenuti a JCA!

  2. Bristol Airport.MEETING TIME: 10 am!

  3. Arrival in Rome 3:15pm Depart Bristol: 12:15pm EZY6185 Arrive Rome Fiumcino airport 3:15pm Train to Hotel 4pm.

  5. Itinerary. Thursday 3rd October 2013. • 12:15pm Flight departs to Roma • 3:15pm Flight arrives Roma • 4pm Train to Termini station • 5:30pm Check-in Hotel des Artistes, unpack, settle into rooms. • 7:30pm Walk to Via Nazionale for dinner • 10:00pm Back home to bed!

Friday 4th October 2013 • Vatican City and Trevi Fountain. • Evening walk to Piazza Navona for ice-cream and pizza and to soak up evening atmosphere • Saturday 5th October 2013 • Day at Colosseum and shopping by Spanish Steps. • 9:15pm Ghost tour? • Sunday 6th October 2013 • Capuchin Crypt, shopping challenge and picnic in park • Monday 7th October 2013 • Room check, check out. • Arrive at airport and check-in • Fly! • 6pm arrival at airport.

  7. What to bring? MAXIMUM BAGGAGE ALLOWANCE:15KG • comfortable walking shoes or trainers • pen and notebook ! • GOOD MIX OF CLOTHING! • rucksack • cards, books etc. • soap, towels and toiletries • waterproof (in case of a downpour) • 100 Euro spending money plus approx £10-20 for lunch and snacks on journey days.

  8. Documents - essential Valid Passport – bring along with you- no passport, no travel! European Health Card – hand in before the trip Insurance – a summary copy available

Code of conduct • No students may consume alcohol on the trip, and any students found to be consuming alcohol will lose out on privileges and possibly future participation in Academy trips. • - buying knives, gas sprays, lighters, or any other potentially dangerous items available in the shops, will be regarded as irresponsible, and items will be confiscated • - students who make a nuisance of themselves to either staff, fellow students, or other guests or staff at the hostel, or the general public, stand to lose privileges, and may be denied the right to take part in certain activities • - in particular, staff instructions about bedtimes, staying in your own bedroom, and noise levels MUST BE OBEYED

  12. Travelling times… • Thurs 3rd October – Depart Airport 12:15pm arrive Rome 3.15pm • MEETING TIME AT AIRPORT: 10.00am • Monday 7th October • ARRIVE IN BRISTOL 6pm PLEASE DO NOT FORGET TO COLLECT YOUR CHILDREN!
