Romeo and Juliet. Act V. Scene Summaries. V i - Romeo is having bad dreams when Balthasar comes to tell him that Juliet’s sleeping with the angels now. With no word from the Friar, Romeo goes off half-cocked to the poor Apothecary. Romeo leaves determined to lie with Juliet that night. Ick.

Scene Summaries V i - Romeo is having bad dreams when Balthasar comes to tell him that Juliet’s sleeping with the angels now. With no word from the Friar, Romeo goes off half-cocked to the poor Apothecary. Romeo leaves determined to lie with Juliet that night. Ick. V ii - Friar John lets the plague get him down and the mail has never been more important. Friar Lawrence leaves to go get Juliet some air. V iii - Paris visits Juliet’s grave on a floral redecorating mission while Romeo arrives to supposedly get back some valuables. Paris thinks Romeo’s up to no good and Romeo wants to commit suicide in peace. They fight and Paris asks to be part of the decorating scheme posthumously. The Friar comes upon the mess as Juliet wakes up and wants to get her to a nunnery. Juliet won’t go and is happy that Romeo carried a dagger. The Prince and families are woken up by the commotion and make Balthasar and Friar Lawrence come clean. The Prince pronounces punishment while the families reconcile via landscaping.
