  2. Min is a monkey. He was hiding in a banana tree. He said, “I like bananas. I like to eat them. I think I will eat 5 yellow bananas.” That is what he did. Min Monkey at 5 yellow bananas. 1

  3. Min Monkey was up in the banana tree. He had eaten five yellow bananas. “Oh, no!” said Min Monkey. “The yellow bananas are going up and down in my tummy. I should not have eaten five yellow bananas. Oh dear!” 2

  4. Min Monkey was not feeling very good. He had eaten too many bananas. He was up in the banana tree. Grandpa Tut came by. He shouted, “Min Monkey! Where are you?” “I am up in the banana tree,” he said. 3

  5. Min Monkey was in the banana tree. He said to Grandpa Tut, “I am in the banana tree. The yellow bananas I ate are going up and down in my tummy. Oh! Oh! Oh! I do not feel very good.” 4

  6. Min Monkey was sick. He had eaten too many bananas. He was in the banana tree. Grandpa Tut came by. “You silly little monkey. Come down here and sit with me,” he said. Min Monkey came down from the tree. 5

  7. Grandpa Tut asked Min Monkey, “How many yellow bananas did you eat?” Min Monkey said, “I ate 5 yellow bananas.” Grandpa Tut asked, “Why did you eat 5 yellow bananas?” “I really like to eat yellow bananas,” Min Monkey said. 6

  8. Grandpa Tut said to Min Monkey, “If you eat too many yellow bananas, you will get sick.” “Oh,” said Min Monkey. “That is why your tummy does not feel very good,” said Grandpa Tut. “You ate too many yellow bananas.” 7

  9. Min Monkey ate too many bananas. He felt sick. But, later his tummy felt fine. “My tummy is good now, Grandpa Tut” said Min Monkey. “That’s good,” said Grandpa Tut. “I would like to eat more bananas,” Min Monkey said. 8

  10. Min Monkey felt better. “My tummy is good now,” he said. “I would like to eat 10 big yellow bananas now.” “What did you say?” Grandpa Tut asked. “I would like to eat 10 big yellow bananas,” Min Monkey said. 9

  11. Min Monkey said to Grandpa Tut, “I want to eat 10 big yellow bananas.” Grandpa Tut said, “You will not eat 10 big yellow bananas.” “Why not?” asked Min Monkey. “You will get sick. Let’s go home,” Grandpa Tut said. 10
