Innovative CyWee Z Game Controller for Enhanced Upper-Limb Rehabilitation

The CyWee Z game controller, developed by CyWee Group Ltd in Taipei, Taiwan, is designed to aid in upper-limb rehabilitation. It offers two handling modes: (a) "Hands Vertical," facilitating radial and ulnar deviation exercises combined with elbow and shoulder flexion/extension; and (b) "Hands Horizontal," enhancing wrist flexion/extension while integrating elbow and shoulder movements. This innovative therapy approach is aligned with findings by Hijmans et al. (2011) on bilateral upper-limb rehabilitation post-stroke, emphasizing movement-based strategies for recovery.
