  12. • Similar stories do not demand “copy cat” motives. • Myths are fictional stories and Jesus’ birth is an historical event. • Is the story that supposedly parallels the virgin birth account accurate? • Are the original stories really parallel to Jesus’ virgin birth? • The differences in the accounts are far greater than the similarities to suggest they are copied.
