  2. MINORITY-SERVING AND UNDER RESOURCED SCHOOL DIVISION (MSURSD)

MSURSD • Unit was created in response to a series of Presidential Executive Orders • Provide assistance to strengthen the administrative capabilities of Asian American and Native American Pacific Islander Serving Institutions (AANAPISI), Alaska Native and Native Hawaiian-Serving Institutions (ANNH),Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCU), Hispanic-Serving Institutions (HSI), Tribally Controlled Colleges and Universities (TCU), and Predominately Black Institutions (PBI)

MSURSD • Expand opportunities for these institutions to participate in Federal programs • Proactively identify the unique service needs of HBCU’s, HSI’s, TCU’s, PBI’s, AANAPISI’s,and ANNH’s as it relates to the management of the Title IV programs • Provide the assistance required to ensure continued participation in the Title IV programs which the institution has chosen to participate
