  4. Galatians 3:6 Principles: 1. At salvation we are imputed with the +R of God (Romans 5:17) and we share in Christ's +R (II Corinthians 5:21) 2. God sees us being imputed with and sharing in divine righteousness as being equal to the standard of His Son 3. The W.O.G. instructs us in God's righteousness.II Timothy 3:16

  5. Galatians 3:6 Principles continued: 4. We as believers can increase in righteousness: I Timothy 6:11Follow after righteousness. II Corinthians 9:10Increase the fruits of your righteousness. 5. Therefore, God declares us righteous and we can increase in righteousness when we believe Him: How? Romans 10:17cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.

  7. Genesis 12:3And I will bless those who bless you, And the one who curses you I will curse. And in you all the families of the earth shall be blessed. Genesis 22:18And in your seed all the nations of the earth shall be blessed, because you have obeyed My voice NOTICE: That this promise is as compliment to the obedience, which is the expression of faith, that Abraham had in the promises of God

  8. HOW DOES THIS BLESSING OCCUR? First, through Abraham came the Seed, the Lord Jesus Christ, the Savior of the world, all nations Secondly, Abraham's story is the first life story given in the Bible and it is the story of a man of God who lived by faith

  9. Two words for Blessing: EV + LOGOSeulogoVgood words MA KA RIOSmakarioV Adjective describing the man who is blessed It describes a status or position, not something that is done to get blessed

The believer who is blessed is one who is not has done . . . not earned but a status: Romans 4:7 Sins forgiven Romans 14:22 Not condemning self Titus 2:13 Anticipating the Rapture Revelation 14:13 Believer's physical death I Peter 3:14 Suffering and testing James 1:25 Learning and applying BD Revelation 1:3 Read and keep the WOG Revelation 22:7 Learning the Word Revelation 22:14 Applying the Word

Hebrews 11:1 Now faith is the reality of things hoped for, the proof of things not seen John 20:29 Jesus said unto him, Thomas, because thou hast seen me, thou hast believed: blessed are they that have not seen, and yet have believed Hebrews 11:6 And without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of those who seek Him I Peter 1:8 Whom having not seen, ye love; in whom, though now ye see him not, yet believing, ye rejoice with joy unspeakable and full of glory Romans 14:23b Whatever is not from faith is sin

  12. Redemption: Three Greek words: 1. AGORAZOagorazw: To be purchased as a slave in the salve market but not removed. Emphasis on the price being paid, Christ did this for the entire human race 2. EXAGORAZO exagorazw: To be purchased and removed from the slave market. Looks at being redeemed from one thing to another. From the Law to Christ (Our Passage) 3. LUTROO lutrow: Means to be bought, taken out, and then set free. Emphasis is on the believer’s freedom in Christ

  13. Deuteronomy 21:23Cursed is everyone who hangs on a tree Romans 6:23For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord

  14. Galatians 3:15 The confirmation of a will 3:17 The ratification of a prior will 3:20 The mediator 3:24 The guardian of an underage heir 3:29 We are sons, we are heirs 4:5 Adoption Roman style 4:7 No more servants, now sons / heirs

  15. Verse 14: Paul gives the reading of the will. What is the estate determined by the death of Christ? 1. That the blessing of Abraham might come on the Gentiles through Jesus Christ 2. That we might receive (at salvation) the promise of the Holy Spirit through the system of faith
