  1. "Implications of False Korean Certifications on U.S.-Manufactured Nuclear Safety-Related Cable"Dr. Corey McDaniel, PEDirector, RSCC Nuclear CableChairman, ANS International Committee Summary: Rockbestos-Surprenant Cable Corporation (RSCC), a Berkshire Hathaway Company, is the world's leading supplier of class NQA and 1E safety-related cable for nuclear power plants. Every reactor in the North America and more than half of the reactors world-wide have installed RSCC cables in containment. RSCC cables have met more of the most stringent U.S. and international nuclear qualifications than any other cable company. RSCC currently supplies the 1E cable to the APR-1400 reactors in UAE, specialty cable to the AP-1000 reactors in China as well as in the U.S., and 1E cables to the ABWR reactors in Taiwan. RSCC supplied the first nuclear qualified cables to Korea before localization resulted in local suppliers providing most of the cables today. RSCC will provide a suppliers perspective on the challenges and opportunities for U.S.-qualified suppliers in the global supply chain.
