"Every child is an artist, the problem is staying an artist when you grow up" – Pablo Picasso But often we as adults push the artist out of the child with our words, for many of us creativity is limited to art and craft, yet there are unlimited way in which creativity can be used. In order to extend a helping hand and strengthen the parent-teacher community, a workshop titled "Using Creativity As A Problem Solving Technique" was organized by GG International School and its pre-school brand GGIS ATHA on 19th January'2019 at GGIS-ATHA, BAVDHAN.

  3. The workshop began with a peppy warm up session conducted by Ms. AmrutaTikhe,CentreHead, Pre School Section, GGIS-ATHA, BAVDHAN who has over 20 years of experience in pre-school education. Later, trained clinical psychologist and early child education expert, Mrs. Anupama Desai who holds over 45 years of experience in teachers training, took over the session and touched on many facets of creativity as seen in early childhood through different activity based sessions during the 3 hour long workshop. In the beginning, she gave each participant a sheet with 4 squares to use their creativityanddraw. Later, she explained through a personal life anecdote how a child is encouraged to use creativity once we as parents or educators take interest and get involve in what they are doing. Many group activities were also conducted. .
