A significant number of papers were sent for remarking, with alterations of two national curriculum levels resulting in some cases. Science results were not recorded accurately, with children marked as absent who were present. Following protracted discussion between the school and QCA, results were finalised in February 2009, and the school received a written apology. School is focussing on the development of writing across the school and developing the use of Primary National Strategy Assessing Pupil Progress materials.
