  1. Background and precancerous diseases of the cervix presented by

  2. Definition and background Cervical ectropion, or cervical ectopy, is when the soft cells (glandular cells) that line the inside of the cervical canal spread to the outer surface of cervix. The outside of your cervix normally has hard cells (epithelial cells). Ectopia occurs in about half of women of reproductive age and does not occur in women after 40 years. Over time, the ectopic cylindrical epithelium is again replaced by a stratified squamous. This occurs due to germ (reserve) cells. Such a process is called squamous metaplasia, and the entire transformation region is called the transformation zone. The transformation zone is the most important attraction on the cervix, since it is in it that more than 90% of cancer cases occur

  3. Risk factors exogenous factor:- most common HPV 90% case and cytomegaloviruses, HIV and chlamydia are simultaneously affecting the epithelium. endogenous factor:- age, hormonal changes, endocrine disease social factors:-Prolonged use of systemic contraceptives, especially for drugs containing gestagen;Early onset of sexual activity and frequent change of partners;Smoking. Women who smoke for 20 years or more are much more prone to dysplasia, since carcinogens in tobacco also penetrate into cervical mucus.

  4. Cervical Diseases All diseases of the cervix can be divided into background, precancerous (dysplasia) and cervical cancer. Background processes: pseudo-erosion (ectopia ,exactly what is most often called cervical erosion), leukoplakia without atypia, polyps, condylomas. Precancerous process (dysplasia): mild, moderate, severe.

  5. difference between normal and ectopia cervix

  6. symptoms pain in the abdomen; dysmenorrhea; problems with conception; spotting, including during intercourse; discharge of variable intensity, which change color and smell; burning sensation and itching; redness and swelling of the labia

  7. Diagnosis of background and precancerous diseases of the cervix uteri Examination of the cervix in the mirrors Colposcopy (examination of the cervix by a colposcope under magnification several times) Pelvic ultrasound HPV test (determination of highly oncogenic human papillomavirus species) Cytological examination of the cervix Histological examination (biopsy of the cervix) - according to indications

  8. Colposcopy ectropion is visible as a red patch at the centre of the cervix and has a soft, velvety appearance.

  9. HPV TEST IS ENOUGH TO DETECT CERVICAL CANCER

  10. Treatment of background and precancerous conditions of the cervix uteri: Stage 1 - treatment of concomitant colpitis and cervicitis (including those caused by sexually transmitted infections). 2nd stage - correction of vaginal biocenosis disorders. Stage 3 - direct treatment (radio wave or laser) of cervical disease Laser treatment is a more complex and expensive method compared to the radio wave, pain during laser treatment is more pronounced

  11. A thermosensitive gel formulation of an empirical traditional Chinese prescription for treating cervical erosion
