  7. Slogan • ArtCentric is looking for a catchy slogan of about five or six words • The closest attempt so far is “Keeping the arts central to life” • Suggested: “Creating community through the arts” or “Celebrating local talent”

  8. Crucial Decision • Most important to FOCUS • Concentrate only on core competencies • What are they? • This must ultimately be decided by ArtCentric after open and objective discussion and analysis • Whatever the decision is, it must be rigorously adhered to

  9. Guiding Questions • What can ArtCentric offer that no one else does? • What services does the community need most? • What programs produce the most income?

  10. Suggestions From the Board • The board made 23 suggestions regarding things that would benefit ArtCentric • We were asked to choose and rank five suggestions from the list in order of importance

  11. The Top Five • 1) Send out an email newsletter to members and donors • 2) Get involved with the local Chamber of Commerce • 3) Obtain a free showcase at the Corvallis Public Library

  12. The Top Five • 4) Inquire about getting a column in the Gazette-Times • 5) Ask about putting information in school newsletters

  13. Visibility • Need to take advantage of their location by attracting people that are walking or driving by. • ArtCentric needs signage in plaza of Central Park. • Street sign on the corner of Jefferson and 8th street.

  20. Layout • Website should have a more bold and artistic layout to match ArtCentric’s style Example:

  21. Interactivity • Forms, Interactive albums, changing images, rollover images and buttons, etc. Examples:
