Practical Exercise for Level 2 Train Planning: Finding Suitable Pathways for Freight Services

In this Level 2 Train Planning exercise, participants will utilize their completed graphical representations of train schedules while integrating insights from Mr. Hassel regarding freight operations. The goal is to identify suitable pathways for both freight services efficiently. Teams are encouraged to focus on the Down line first, pinpoint a suitable 'slot,' and then collaborate to investigate the Up line further. Ample time will be allocated to analyze the recently received 'Spot Bid.' This practical exercise enhances real-world train planning and operational skills.
