EARLY LIFE • Jay-z also known as his birth name Shawn Corey Carter and was born on December 4, 1969. • Jay-z lived in New York city. • He was abandoned by his father in 1982. • Carter attended Eli Whitney high school but it was closed down. • Later, He went to George Westinghouse career and tech ed. High school in Brooklyn with future rappers but did not graduate.

  3. EARLY LIFE • Jay-z started his music career in 1996 with his album “reasonable doubt”. • The album was in the 500 greatest albums of all time. • The album’s production was sold out in the United states.

  4. Vol. 2 music album • Jay-z released his second album in 1998 called “hard knock life” which was the biggest hit of his life. • It sold over 5 million people . • The album also won the Grammy award.

  5. Music Album • Jay-z also released couple other albums like Feud with Nas, The Blueprint, I declare War, and others. • These kinds of albums sold more than 3 million albums in the United States itself. • Jay-z worked with Kayne West, Rihanne, and Beyonce with these albums.
