  1. Car Issues That Don't Need a Mechanics' Help Who doesn't love the luxury of owning their very own car and the freedom that comes with it? The freedom to go anywhere and everywhere without having to wait in line for public transportation. It is such a great asset to own, and that's why people are buying them. Especially now when buying used cars from Japan is now quite a rage now. People are buying and importing cars from Japan which are slightly used or pre-loved. These cars are a great option for people who wish to own a car without having to pay a lot of money for it. These cars are in good condition, and you can get them inspected prior to knowing if there are any issues with them. But with even inspections and scanning’s, there are certain issues which may occur in your car. But not all of them need to be tended by a mechanic and spent a big pot of money on. This blog will discuss the various issues that you can solve yourself without having to make a trip to the mechanic. These tips will help you save money and effort, and you don’t have to go to a mechanic. 1- The Replacement of the PCV Valve The PCV or positive crankcase ventilation valve is set up to regulate the flow of crankcase vapors, which are flammable, back to the engine to be burned in a safe manner. The design of the valve is such that it is closed during backfires to prevent any damage. As time goes on, the PCV valve can accumulate build-up, and the tension in the spring loosens. This can put a risk on your engine. It is a very easy process to replace this valve; you can either look through the manual or online. Simply wiggle the valve out of the grommet and install the new one. 2- Air Filter Replacement

  2. Replacing the air filter of your car is an easy task and should be fine without seeking help from your mechanic. You can just unscrew or unclip the retainer and remove the old air filter. If you notice a lot of wear and tear on the filter, replace it with a new one, and you are good to go. 3- Non-headlight bulbs Replacement If you have fogged bulbs or wish to remove a burned-out license plate, you can simply unscrew the screw and change them. This is the easiest thing that you can do it yourself without the help of a professional. You can pull out the old bulb simply, and then while installing the new one, ensure that you handle it using gloves or a cloth so that you don't end up fogging or staining the glass of the bulb. 4- Chipped Auto Paint

  3. If you have noticed that paint is chipped in your car in some places, then it is better to tackle it early, or you will have a bigger hole of paint chipped. It is very easy to rectify chipped paint. You can just buy the paint, brush and grease, and wax remover from any store, and you are good to go. First you need to clean the area of chipped paint with grease or wax remover and then let it dry. Then you can paint the chipped paint area and let it dry. Later on, after thirty days, you can apply car wax on the area, and you will have amazing results which won't cost you a trip to the mechanic.
