  2. A successful rock band like Texas can earn a lot of money, but it isn’t an easy life. A world tour can include more than twenty different countries, and fifty different cities.

  4. 9.00 The band are having breakfast at the hotel. 11.00 The lead singer, Sharleen Spiteri, is doing an interview for a local radio station. It’s good publicity for the tour!

  5. 2.00 They’rearriving at the concert hall. A lot of fans are waiting outside. 4.00 The band are on stage, but they aren’tperforming.They’rechecking the lights and the sound equipment.

  6. 7.30 Half an hour before the start of the concert! The audience are starting to arrive. 7.45 The band are backstage. They’re making final preparations for the concert.

  7. 8.00 The audience are cheering. The concert is beginning! 11.00 The concert is over and the audience are leaving the concert hall.

  8. 11.30 The band are travelling to the next town. They’regiving another concert tomorrow!

  23. Lenn: I’m sorry, I can’t. I’m visiting Sonia on Saturday. She’scooking dinner for me. What about Friday? Anna: Oh, I can’t go on Friday. I’mplaying tennis with Rob. Lenn: Well, let’s invite him to the concert! Does he like Texas? Anna: No, he doesn’t. He hates them.
