  5. Vision StatementThe vision of the Montwood High School girls’ soccer team is to encourage and promote an environment where all athletes will succeed in the classroom, on the soccer field and in life.

  6. Mission StatementBy promoting player development, improved soccer skills, sportsmanship and academic achievement, the MontwoodHigh School girls’ soccer team strives to encourage a healthy lifestyle and fun soccer atmosphere.

ExpectationsAll student athletes on the Montwood girls’ soccer team are expected to: •treat coaches, teammates, teachers, staff and themselves with RESPECT. •practice good sportsmanship on and off the soccer field. •follow ALL school rules as stated in the handbook. •practice and perform with heart and dedication at all times. •work hard in the classroom to maintain eligibility. •practice safety at all times. •NOT take pictures while in the locker rooms.•No cell phone usage is allowed on the sidelines/bench during games and scrimmages!

  10. Practice and Game ProceduresIf you are going to miss a game for any reason, you must notify your coach in advance. If you miss practice it can result in sitting out half a game or full game depending on the amount of practice days missed.***Picking up your daughter from away games???

  12. TRYOUTS are December 1st, 2nd and 3rd at 7:00am on the practice fields.Dec. 1st- tennis shoes onlyDec. 2nd- cleats and shin guardsDec. 3rd- cleats and shin guards December 4th JV and Varsity teams will be posted in coaches office.

  13. All athletes that receive equipment will have to fill out an inventory control sheet. Every item on the inventory sheet must be returned at the end of the season!!!!!!!!!Each varsity athlete will be receiving equipment that costs approximately $220
