  1. Cool-Choice

  2. It's a familiar situation: your child complains that she's not feeling well. You put your hand on her forehead and realize that she's hot. Now what? To help understand how to take her temperature accurately and how to measure a fever, read our children's fever guide. Fever

  3. A fever is an elevated body temperature. It's a symptom, not an illness. “Similar to vomiting or diarrhea, it's a flag that something is not right in the body,” A fever is not always caused by a serious illness. True, it can be a sign of a bacterial infection (meningitis, pneumonia, whooping cough, for example), but that happens less often these days due to immunization. More often it's a sign of a viral infection (cold, flu, for example), the result of a medication overdose, or even overheating from overdressing. What is Fever?

  4. Also, it's not necessarily something to fear. “A fever can actually be your child's friend,” It fights infection because bacteria and viruses don't grow well in high temperatures and it also increases the child's immune response because antibodies and white blood cells work better in higher temperatures.

  5. Symptoms of Fever Signs and symptoms of fever may be obvious or subtle. The younger the child, the more subtle the symptoms. A-Infants1-Irritable2-Fussy3-Lethargic4-Quiet5-Feel warm or hot6-Not feed normally7-Cry8-Breathe rapidly9-Exhibit changes in sleeping or eating habits

  6. Symptoms of Fever B-Verbal children may complain of;1-Feeling hotter or colder than others in the room who feel comfortable2-Body aches3-Headache4-Having difficulty sleeping or sleeping more, and5-Poor appetite.

  7. When to Seek Medical Care ? *Unable to control the fever. *Child may become dehydrated from vomiting, diarrhea, or not drinking (sunken eyes, dry diapers, tented skin, unarousable, etc.). Child must be taken to emergency clinic when any of the following happen:1- Suspect child is dehydrated.2-A seizure occurs.3-Child has a purple or red rash.4-A change in consciousness occurs.5-Child's breathing is shallow, rapid, or difficult.6-Child is younger than 2 months of age.7-Child has a headache that will not go away.8-Child continues to vomit.

  8. Children Treatment1-Self-Care at Home The three goals of home care for a child with fever are ; 1-To control the temperature 2-To prevent dehydration 3-To monitor for serious or life-threatening illness.

  9. 2-Medical Treatment The doctor may or may not be able to tell the exact cause of your child's fever. Viral infections of the respiratory system are the most common cause of fever. Antibiotics do not cure or help with viral infections. If doctor diagnoses a bacterial infection, the child will be started on antibiotics. Urinary tract infections, ear infections, throat infections, sinus infections, skin infections, gastrointestinal infections, and pneumonia may be treated with antibiotics at home. The child may receive oral antibiotics or a shot or both. Children diagnosed with bacterial meningitis are always admitted to the hospital. Additionally, doctor may give acetaminophen (Tylenol) or ibuprofen (Advil) for fever. Dehydration may be treated by giving oral or intravenous fluids. If a child is vomiting, an anti-nausea drug may be given by injection or by rectal suppository. After a period of time, oral fluids will be attempted.

  10. Product Information

  11. Is your kid suffering from high fever? Are you fed up with the traditional means of treating high fever? Here is a magical solution! Say goodbye to the last days! Say goodbye to the side effects of the drugs!

  12. 4 Gel stickers reducing high fever Quick effect Lasting for 8 hours

  13. Mode of Action The cooling gel strip contains a high percentage of water which works with the body’s natural cooling system helping to cool the child. As the temperature rises(fever, headache, toothache and so on),the heat of the skin causes the evaporation of water contained within the strip. As a result the cooling gel strip creates a cooling sensation on the surface of the skin and as a result lowers the temperature of the skin. The heat of the skin causes the evaporation of water contained within the gel the excellent heat transfer ability is made possible by the gels unique structure which disperses heat freely, and maintains a constant and steady cooling effect that lasts for up to8-10 hours.
