The New Course Planning • Six-year and four-year individualized academic plans completed by student in Naviance. • Each individualized plan will be reviewed and approved by a school counselor and parent/guardian. • Naviance provides students and families with an electronic course catalog to assist in course selection. (Course Catalog is district approved Course of Study)
The New Course Planning • School staff may provide course recommendations for students, encouraging them to explore more rigorous courses. • All Plans of Study are safely stored in Naviance database and may be accessed by appropriate school staff, students, and families. • School counselor approved Plans of Study will be imported into Student Information System.
Pilot Data • Errors Received • Courses were already in Zangle Course Requests • Student is not in Zangle for next school year • Course is not in site’s Zangle course availability
