  4. District Governors • Represent the association in the district • Promote harmony among the district’s clubs • Promote membership growth, retention and new club development • Promote leadership development in clubs and in the district • Promote LCIF and all service activities

  5. District Governors • Preside over district meetings when present • Coach and motivate the district leadership team members • Ensure all clubs in the district are visited. or a district leadership team member can visit the clubs • Ensure guidance is given to declining clubs

First Vice District Governor • Assist DG in review of strengths & weaknesses of clubs and identify weak clubs • Assist in developing plans to strengthen weak clubs • Serve as DG Team liaison with the GMT to establish and implement a district plan for membership growth • Work with the District Convention Committee • Assist the DG Team and the District GLT in developing and implementing a district plan for leadership development • Prepare to assume responsibilities of governor
