  18. Quell • (v.) to subdue, put down forcibly • Think of Quiet-Well. For one to quell and argument, one must quiet both people well!

  19. Quiescent • (adj.) inactive; at rest QUIET; at rest.

  20. Ruminate • (v.) to meditate, think about at length • Not sure of what to do next, I went into the next room and ate some food, which helped me think more clearly.

  21. Tacit • (adj.) unspoken, silent; implied • TAKE-IT. You don’t need my permission, it’s implied and unspoken!

  22. Tangible • (adj.) capable of being touched; real • TANGIBLE= TOUCHABLE

  23. Trenchant • (adj.) forceful, effective; clear-cut • Think of CHANT. In order to be understood, a CHANT must be forceful and effective!
