  9. Graphics Are the colors and and Music Helping You pay better Attention to what I’m saying?

  10. Or do they distract you?Are the music and graphics making you angry at the young man reading the words on the screen, or do you feel more energized and excited about what is being said and how it could draw a new crowd of people to our church?

  13. What was “wrong” with the previous presentation? wrong:as defined by the majority of modern Seventh-day Adventists I’ve met in my visits to a host of churches, from Collegedale to Loma Linda, Missouri to NE Tennessee, Maryland to Florida, and Hawaii to Nassau, Bahamas.

  15. Is it okay to have new people at our church dressed in jeans, who just finished smoking in their cars? What if they weren’t smoking tobacco? Can they still come into church?

  19. Christ has called usto use the talents and gifts He has given us to reach a new generation through creating a new community. This community will be called Ignite! salt lake and we are asking for your approval in the manifestation of this Christ-centered community in the form of a worship service, among other things, that will be held weekly at the Wasatch Hills Seventh-day Adventist Church!

  20. •Pastor Bernieand I Working Together Created a Game Plan and Team (1) Worship Service Flow, (2) Marketing, (3) Follow-up (plugging new people into the community), (4) Social Media, (5) Media/Graphics, (6) Production Team

  21. •Specific Goals Showing others what Christ is about Showing Salt Lake City whatSDAs are about (1)Using Marketing Strategies (2)Using Follow-up Strategies (3)Developing the “Science of Soul-Saving”-Ellen White (4)Following Mathew 5:13-14. Salt and Light. A Church on a Hill. (4)Getting advice. Following examples. (5)Of Specific Churches that Grow. Quickly!

  22. My New Blog, Precision Points of a Called Christian, is documenting this project, in a goal to help other churches grow, and if you say “NO”, then hundreds of people who have been praying for our success will be disappointed.

Quickly! 15 baptisms in 5 years, that’s 3 a year – acceptable? Growth Process for Ignite! salt lake cheesy picture Help meet people’s needs Build a friendship Hang out with them Invite them to chill with our friends (def. : > building a community) Show them the happiness and success that comes with Christ Invite them to experience this Experience this @ Ignite! salt lake Plug them back into the community We are role models for becoming as real, non-judging, Christ-filled SDAs They take bible study class=baptism

  26. •Goals:! 400 people attending - 2010 Class conducted Every other month Prepare for baptism and becoming a member To see the traditional service set the same goals = 800 people coming every week to our church! 800 people passionate about serving Christ! 800 people who enjoy the emotion that good music and sermon bring, But are mainly excited about learning how to live more Christ-centered lives in preparation for his second coming – which we a REQUIRED to tell people about!
