  1. Add Buttons to Navigate to the Previous & Next Page Click to Continue Created March 2011

  2. Slide No 1 Use Hyperlinks to add page navigation to presentations To create a Previous or Next button On the Slide Master Create to text or object for the navigation – in this example I have used text Right Click on the text or object Choose Hyperlink Choose Place in This Document Choose Previous Page or Next Page All the slides will now contain this navigation Click to go to previous page Click to go to next page

  3. Slide No 2 Do not cover the navigation buttons with other slide content

  4. Slide No 3 Other navigation options are possible – e.g. go to Last Slide or to a specific page • The buttons can be as inconspicuous as desired • To completely hide - blend them into the background • As long as you know where they re you can click on that area of the screen to use the hyperlink

  5. Slide No 4 • If the buttons are added to the Slide Master they will appear on all slides • Should you choose they could be added to individual slide page layouts • You might do this to remove Previous on the first slide and Next from the last slide • OR • You could simply cover it with a object the same color as the background – in this example I have used a blue box to illustrate this approach
