  1. Do blue light glasses help migraines?

  2. What is Blue Light?

  3. Blue light is everywhere in our world. It used to be that the only source of blue light was from the sun. Now we have brought blue light inside by way of digital screens (found on TVs, Smartphones, computers, laptops, tablets and gaming systems), electronic devices, LED and fluorescent lighting.

  4. Blue Light and Migraines You have probably heard that exposure to blue light affects your health, whether it is from fluorescent lighting, your smartphone or even from the sun. Researchers have suggested that there is a specific neural pathway from the eyes to the brain—separate from how vision is transmitted—that ultimately causes blue light wavelengths to worsen headache pain and other symptoms. The absorption of UVA light by the eye can lead to the destruction of specific membranes, and may also accelerate the development of cataracts and macular degeneration.

  5. How BluTech Lenses can help? BluTech Lenses are for people of all ages – children, teens and adults. They’re designed for anyone that regularly uses electronic devices, such as Smartphones, computers, flat-screen TVs and tablets, for several hours a day. Designed to help reduce eye strain, fatigue and discomfort, BluTech Lenses offer protection from harmful ultraviolet and blue lights, help to increase depth perception and enhance contrast. They can even help to improve night vision. Additionally, BluTech Lenses are also recommended for post-op cataract patients to help with the brightness and glare they experience after surgery.
