Almost 2 million people in the UK are living with sight loss Between 6 and 8% of learners use assistive technology There are estimated 2.5 million people in the UK with speech and language communication needs. More than one child per class 400,000 children is severely dyslexic. There are over half million learners in FE who have declared a disability.

RSC Assist Jisc Regional Support Centre West Midlands is giving learning providers the opportunity to apply for free, extended support in an area of their choice, through the RSC Assist project.Recent Projects- Queen Alexandra College How to apply If you’d like to take part in the RSC Assist project, please complete the application form, which is available online at: http://bit.ly/o0LKyt Through RSC Assist, we requested the support of the RSC in helping to roll out Infolio across our Preparation for Life (Entry Level) cohort by developing a strategy for training staff and integrating Infolio in the curriculum. We identified a QAC Infolio Champion to work with us on ideas for the use of infolio in the curriculum and to help to deliver training to staff. www.rsc-wm.ac.uk
