Christopher Ulrich • Computer geek in the late 70’s & early 80’s • Business owner & Attorney in the early 90’s • Started on the internet in 1991 • Left the full-time practice of law for the internet in 1997 • One of the first domain, hosting, PPC & SEO companies • $650 million in revenue for clients like Buy.com, Register.com, Orvis, Cingular, TimeLife, Citigroup, NBTY, CA, etc… (meaning: early & old school) • Today: 75% of focus is on law firms, 25% on traditional business, 95% on lead generation

  5. For more than a decade, starting in 2003,spinning produced amazing results for me… Until around 2009, when people separately“discovered” the concept…And turned it into a product, abused it,and today the method is usedto produce cheap crap…

  6. The good news is this:GOOD spinning never stopped working. It is a lot of work, but it is worth it. Today, let’s look at the RIGHT wayto spin, rank and succeed…

Manually rewrite content by hand (Sentence Spinning) • Using Templated layouts (I will be putting online),do 3-6 rewrites of each sentence. • Vary the length and structure of sentences. • Rewrite some sentences as two sentences. • No word / phrase spinning at this stage.Stick with the same nouns & spinnable adjectives.

Follow a Structured WRITING Approach • Use Templates to Keep Content Well Formatted • Use consistent writing rules • No Synonyms (attorney / lawyer) • Do not vary your adjectives and adverbsduring the rewrite (that comes later) • No “a” or “an” – drop them from your vocabulary.Use “your” and “the” and other filler words.

Limited Word and Phrase Spinning • After you finalize the sentence rewrites, do very limited Word & Phrase spins • Only words & phrases you trust that have no ambiguous meanings • Know your content – if you talk about real estatewebsites, “home”can be a home page or ahouse … make sure you don’t confuse it.Instead write with “house” and spin in “home” • Use Microsoft Word orTheBestSpinner as an EDITOR (no automatic settings)

Do not “Tighten Up” until everything is finished • At this stage, content is “long” with lots of line breaks • Do not delete line breaks and “tighten up”content until everything is 100% ready to go… • An editor like Notepad++ or Textpad are greatat removing line breaks – CHR(10) & CHR(13) • Once you’ve removed all and everything isone massive tight block of text, replace your-----Paragraph----- with two line breaks …
