Joint Expert's Glucosamine Chondroitin

Your body uses glucosamine, a natural compound, to stimulate your cells to create one of the main building blocks of joint cartilage -- proteoglycans. As you age, the amount of glucosamine created by your body decreases. The result? Your cartilage and bones begin to scrape against each other, your joints become damaged, and the lubricating synovial fluid in your joint spaces becomes thin and watery.

  1. Joint Expert Glucosamine & Chondroitin Glucosamine and chondroitin are two molecules that make up the type of cartilage found within joints. Inside your joints, cartilage undergoes a constant process of breakdown and repair. However, to be properly repaired, the building blocks of cartilage must be present and available. The theory behind using the glucosamine and chondroitin joint supplements is that more of the cartilage building blocks will be available for cartilage repair.

  2. How It Works! ? Glucosamine is a major building block of the water – loving proteoglycans. Besides being a building block for the synthesis of proteoglycans, its mere presence acts as a stimulus to the cells that produce proteoglycans – in fact glucosamine is a key factor in determining how many proteoglycans are produced by the cells. It normalises cartilage metabolism which helps keep cartilage from breaking down.

  3. Benefits • Glucosamine may help to prevent cartilage degeneration and treat arthritis. • Its use as a therapy for osteoarthritis. • It is necessary for the construction and repair of connective tissue and healthy joint cartilage. • It is also used in the formation of tendons, membranes, heart valve, cornea, intervertebral disc, bones and other tissues.

  4. Supplement Facts Glucosamine not only stimulates production of cartilage, but improves joint function and aids in reducing joint pain, including those suffering from arthritis and athletic injuries to the joints. Chondroitin works to protect cartilage from premature breakdown. It does this by inhibiting enzymes that destroy cartilage and prevent transportation of nutrients. Number of capsules per day – 3 capsules. Variants • Joint Expert's Glucosamine With Chondroitin - 500mg - 120 Capsules • Joint Expert's Glucosamine with Chondroitin - 500mg - 240 capsules • Joint Expert's Glucosamine Chondroitin - 180 capsules • Joint's Expert's Glucosamine Chondroitin - 360 Capsules

  5. Why Do You Need Glucosamine & Chondroitin As we get older, the production of glucosamine and chrondroitinsulfate by the body tapers. Increased activity, damages to the body and degenerative diseases may overcome the rate at which it is produced and used affecting the production of proteoglycans. This in turn decreases synovial fluid that cushions and prevents the joints from rubbing together. Cartilage can begin to deteriorate and weaken (less collagen) producing damage, stiffness and pain. Glucosamine caught the public's attention when the Lancet, a leading medical journal, reported that it had beneficial effects on osteoarthritis sufferers.. Unfounded claims in the improvement or modification in the structure of affected joints was soon circulated.
