  6. Purpose of program • The traditional African safari was born in Kenya and now students can experience the legend on a Kenya safari of a lifetime.

  7. Purpose of program (continued) • Also, it’s important for dentistry students to promote the local dental health in Kenya.

  8. Opportunities for fun, learning, work • For fun: Enjoy amazing sightings of African wildlife and wonderful photographic opportunities on this Kenya safari vacation package.

  11. Benefits • Student volunteers or interns will be expected to work for between 3 to 8 hours a day. They will find the Kenya dental volunteer abroad opportunity enlightening and rewarding.

  12. Travel Details • Day 1: Nairobi, Kenya • On arrival at the Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, students will be met by the representative who will assist them with their luggage and escort them to the car. • They will be transferred to the hotel for the overnight stay.

Travel Details • Day 3: Lake Nakuru National Park, Kenya • After breakfast check-out of the hotel and depart on a morning drive to Lake Nakuru National Park arriving in time for lunch and an afternoon drive. • Wildlife will be found here include the endangered Black Rhino, Leopard, Buffalo and Lion.

Travel Details • Days 4: Masai Mara Nature Reserve, Kenya • Drive to the world famous MasaiMara Nature Reserve arriving in time for lunch at the lodge and an afternoon drive in the park. • The Masai Mara is famous for its Black-maned Lion and is a vast area of grassland, rivers, forests, and hill. • magnificent scenery as far as the eye can see - where a constant pageant of wildlife endlessly unfold.

  16. Travel Details • Day 5: Nairobi, Kenya • If time permits another morning drive until midday when students will have lunch at their lodge and say farewell to Africa. • Proceed to Nairobi and they will be dropped off at the airport for their outbound flight.
