  2. Overview • FDOT has announced that Priority Transportation Projects will be due to the Department by July 1, 2011. • The accelerated deadline is due to the Florida Legislature starting the 2012 Session in January. • Therefore, at the June 16th TPO Board meeting staff will request the Board to approve candidate transportation priorities for Highway, TRIP/GIGP, Congestion Management, Transit, Multi-Use Trail and Transportation Enhancement. • 2011 Priority Projects primarily consist of candidate project phases for funding in FY 2013/14 through 2016/17. 3. Transportation Enhancement Subcommittee • Pursuant to the TPO’s adopted Policy on Transportation Enhancement Projects, the TPO Board will appoint members from the advisory committees to serve on a subcommittee to evaluate and rank candidate transportation enhancement and multi-use trail projects. • Per the Board’s direction, staff will seek six members (3 from each committee) to serve on this subcommittee.
