Operation Kindness

Founded in 1976, Operation Kindness is the oldest and largest no-kill shelter in North Texas, having saved over 75,000 animals. Caring for 275-300 animals daily and supporting another 100 in foster homes, we assist more than 3,000 dogs and cats each year. Our mission is to provide a safe, no-kill environment for homeless pets until they find loving, responsible homes, while also advocating for humane values. Join us in creating a world where every cat and dog has a caring forever home.

  2. Founded in 1976, Operation Kindness is the oldest and largest no-kill shelter in North Texas. Operation Kindness has saved more than 75,000 animals. They care for 275-300 animals on a day-to-day basis, with another 100 animals in foster homes. More than 3,000 dogs and cats are assisted by Operation Kindness each year.
