  2. Hajj Pilgrimage is one of the five pillars of Islam. Every year Muslims visit Makkah around the world. In Makkah, the biggest Mosque Masjid Al Haramis located. Every Muslim comes here to perform various sacred rituals. Moreover, there is an act of wisdom minor Hajj known as Umrah is also celebrated. Umrah mandates Muslims to perform a set of rituals to purify their souls by removing their sins. • This year Ramdhan Umrah Packages are starting from 2nd April and it will continue till2nd May. But this year due to the spread of Covid 19 there are lots of restrictions imposed on Haji Tours. 

  3. Saudi Arabia's government mentioned a lot of restrictions on tourists coming from different parts of the world to perform sacred rituals.

  4. Few restrictions are …. • Every tourist is mandated to have Covid 19 vaccination certificate with them at the time of travel. They have to be fully vaccinated to perform rituals inside the Grand Mosque. • Apart from vaccination, Every tourist should be tested negative. And each of them has to go through a Covid 19 testing, in case he or she shows any symptoms.

  5. Also from particular applications, Tourists can also preplan their Umrah visits. In order to avoid unnecessary chaos amidst pandemics, the government has launched these applications. On this application, you can set a time as per your convenience to perform Umrah. • under 7 years fully vaccinated children are allowed to enter the Grand Mosque. Although, a minimum of 12 years old children are permitted to perform Umrah as per the rules of the Saudi government. • Wearing Mask is not mandated during outdoor travels. But, inside the Mosque, everybody has to wear a mask while performing Umrah. Without a mask, Entry is strictly prohibited inside the Mosque.

  6. As far as Quarantine is concerned, tourists, coming from different parts of the world do not need to stay in quarantine. Even, they need not undergo any rapid test for Covid19. However, they must have medical insurance cover regarding covid, if they are arriving on Visa. • Recently, Saudi Arabia has also lifted the ban which they impose on the arrival of certain countries due to the sudden surge in Covid 19 infections in those countries. Countries such as South Africa, Namibia, Zambia, Madagascar, Afghanistan, Ethiopia, etc. Now, Muslim citizens from these countries can also take part in performing Umrah in Saudi Arabia.

  7. Pricing of Umrah Packages • Generally, For adults, it will cost around $3000 to $10,000 per person. There are different types of services available from basic to premium. It will depend upon you with which package you go with, your preference decides the expense that you bear. Make sure to research a bit about pricing regarding packages.
