  2. Why is it Important to Eat Healthy? The food which you eat has a direct impact on your overall health and oral health. There are many fruits, vegetables, drinks and dairy products, which contain many rich minerals and essential vitamins, which help to prevent you from many dental diseases. So that's why healthy food and drinks is very essential for everyone to maintain healthy teeth and gums. When it comes to choosing the right foods for your teeth, the first thing that comes in mind is calcium. Eating calcium-rich diet is excellent for your oral health. It helps in maintaining strong teeth and bones. Other than calcium, Vitamin D and phosphorous are equally important for your dental health.
