Best Bar None in Kensington and Chelsea • Best Bar None started in Manchester City Centre about 6 years ago to help deal with crime and disorder linked to their city centre night time economy • The scheme involves operators of licensed premises working in partnership with police, environmental health officers, licensing officers, trading standards officers, fire officers etc. to bring the operation of licensed premises up to a minimum standard

Best Bar None in Kensington and Chelsea • Premises that are the subject of applications for BBN Membership are thoroughly assessed by trained assessors and the results of these assessments are scored • The subject headings of issues scored are linked to the 4 licensing objectives plus some health issues • Those reaching the minimum criteria are accepted into the local BBN Schemes • The partners involved in the scheme work with operators whose premises do not achieve the minimum score to improve processes and procedures
