Activity: Joel is the 5/8 of The Knights Rugby Team. One night whilst training, he realizes a fellow team mate has injured himself. However, they both have no car or phone. In the dark, Joel is to decide how to get his team mate Izzy to safety. Will they make it out of the dark safely? Will this be the beginning of a new friendship? What will Joel do to avoid any more disasters along the way? Its now up to you! Next
Character Profiles: Joel: Joel is a healthy, 5/8 for The Knights. He's tall, dark and according to most of the girls who come to watch the game, the "try" of the season. But, little does anyone know. Joel is actually afraid of the dark. Izzy: Izzy is on the wing. He's only been on the team for a few months and hasnt really made any friends yet. Though nobody may know him, Izzy is actally a Black Belt Jujitsu student and great with his words. Next
Thumble: Thumble is a mystical creature who lives in the dark. Though he may sound small, he's actually quite large. Almost like a troll but unlike a troll, he's out to help.. He also has an ET like trait. His finger lights up! Bumble: Bumble as it sounds, is a large Bee that lives on Highway 56. He is to be avoided but that's usually a task because as soon as he smells people, he's aim is to attack. Next

After being the last two on the field for the night, Izzy encounters himself in distress. Only to notice that the only person around is Joel. They've never really spoken but Izzy is desperate. What does he do now? Call out for Joel but in a calmer way Scream and cry and shout
Joel hears Izzy calling him. He can see the pain and agony that Izzy is in, but never really speaking to him makes it difficult for Joel to decide what to do. Joel approaches Izzy and offers to take Izzy to the hospital Joel hears and acknowledges Izzy but does nothing about it
On the way, they realize that its quite a distance but Izzy is sure that they can work together to get there. They come across the hut of Thumble. Its getting darker and inside, Joel is become more and more frightened when suddenly Thumble appears. To their disbelief he introduces himself and explains that he is very often misunderstood. Do the boys seek his help or are the frightened enough to thank him and leave? They ask him politely for his help and leave the rest to Thumble Joel is too afraid of Thumble for his help and Izzy isn't sure arguing with the person who's helping him is the right thing, they move along without the help of Thumble.
Thumble safely helps them across Highway 56, fights of Bumble the dangerous bee. Carries both boys across the mulch full river and glides them through the erky edges of the very abandon highway. Using his ET like finger he safely delivers them to the hospital where Izzy is treated for his injury and both boys have much to tell. So what happened?
Joel ends up acknowledging Izzy but to take him to safety they must pass Highway 56. What does Joel decide? He decides that Izzy is actually nobody to him and does nothing He decides to give in a give a brother a hand. Even though its a bit of a walk, through Highway 56
There's really no more to this story. You as the character have portrayed little social skills and have left Izzy to the beasts of the night! On Ya Son! AND THEN?
Joel can hear Izzy acting like a child. He has never had a decent conversation with him and is struggling to decide how to cope with the situation. It’s getting darker and Joel’s nerves are running faster. He needs to make a decision fast. Joel decides: Joel ignores Izzy and laughs because that's really childish Joel approaches Izzy confused and worried because of his behavior
It’s getting much darker and the trail of Thumble is now behind. The boys suddenly realize they approaching the nest of Bumble. The try to continue on quietly but Bumble has precise hearing. The boys now: They slowly yet hurriedly return for the Thumbles help after agreeing he was the best choice. They begin to argue and suddenly Joel finds himself in a ditch.
They get stuck because now Joel has also been injured. It’s pitch black and now both boys are stranded. Izzy has put together a master plan in his mind. Believing it could work all he has to do is approach Joel about it however Izzy is afraid of Joel’s reaction. Izzy decides: To calmly tell Joel about his plan and tell him he is willing to compromise so both boys can reach safety. Keeps the plan to himself because he knows he may just blow the chances of making a good friend in a very steamy situation.
The boys remain stranded. They fail to communicate and we’re taught that sometimes, compromise, attention and the understanding of safety may lie in the hands of someone else. Next
The boys are able to strategically plan an escape plan. They use each other for support and rely on each others instructions to guide one another. Along the way, Joel admits to Izzy about his fear of the dark. Here, the boys begin forming a relationship based on trust and mutual agreement. Their friendship lasts for a lifetime and their story becomes a lifetime tale. THE END. Next
