The obligations of the NHW sector leader • To participate in general assembly • To organise the putting up of the NHW signs • To organise the collecting of the fees (yearly fee and admission fee) • Organising the communication between neighbours, shares information • Updating the neighbours data • Organising trainings, activities for the sector • Is a contact person for co-operation partners

4. The obligations of the members of the NHW sector • Shows initiative in implementing NHW; • Informs police and NHW sector members about the suspicious activities and/or crimes • Pays admission and yearly fee

After agreement NHW in Estonia has 2 main parts: • Looking out for your neighbourhood – residents of NHW areas are encouraged to be on the lookout for suspicious behaviour COMMUNICATION • to reduce the attractiveness of their homes householders are implementing their activities which are suggested by the NHW organisation/police SECURITY AT HOME

10. How often are regularly meetings? • At least one time per year • In the meeting the data of the members should be updated. New data should be sent to other parties of the contract. • The local police officer should also participate in the meeting.

11. Security at home • Inviting a specialist from police or NHW NGO to get advice how to improve the safety in the neighbourhood • Usually the advices include cheap, easy to implement tips which have quick impact.
