Task Group 4 Low Rate WPANS Opening Report

On July 9, 2001, Task Group 4 of Low Rate WPANS convened to review proposals and make key decisions. A call for intent was issued, resulting in 9 responses. During the Monterey meeting, 8 CFAs were evaluated, leading to a criteria matrix development. CFPS were assessed at prior meetings, and active efforts are underway to merge proposals. This meeting's objectives included presenting remaining proposals, selecting baseline MAC and PHY, reviewing progress on the low-rate article, and discussing follow-on actions. The session's outcomes will guide future directions.
