Local Authority Learning and Development Programme

Phase 2 – Making the business case Consider strategic support, including elected member ‘buy in’ wider stakeholder support including the third sector clarity of outcomes, especially multiple outcomes impact on resource allocation especially vfm, ‘more for less’ how to involve different departments/organisations ‘fit’ with localism and the Big Society evaluation and legacy

  5. Where next? IP Peer Review and Support Programme Outcomes for the host authority would include:  a light touch’ external assessment showcasing and sharing good practice, challenges and barriers a strengthened business case summary report of the Review, with recommendation

  6. Where next? IP Peer Review and Support Programme Outcomes for the review team would include: increased understanding of ‘what works and why’ opportunity to shape the views of colleagues and partners examination of outcomes and impact shaping a benchmarking tool for self-assessment

IP Peer Review and Support Programme Potential themes and topics commissioning IP to deliver health outcomes addressing social exclusion through IP working with vulnerable people and addressing intergenerational dimensions of poverty intergenerational volunteering with reference to people with disability the role of scrutiny in promoting IP
