Collaboration Experiences • Utilized complementary technology and expertise • GOS’s naming/agora • Understood large software project R&D by International teams • Requirements and testing specifications are based on international standards • Coding style, SVN/gforge, bug tracker/reports are unified to guarantee code standardization • Internal reviews and scientific committee to improve software quality • Enhanced impact in the World and in China • Co-authored papers (5 papers coauthored with ICT) • Source codes are becoming part of mainstream distributions (such as Mandriva; RadFlag) • GOS 4.0 will utilize new technologies from XtreemOS project • Expanded human resource pool • that know EU-China collaboration in net computing systems • Established a “suitable” XtreemOS open-source software policy XtreemOS IP project is funded by the European Commission under contract IST-FP6-033576
