SELECTION PROCESS CSUDH IS NOT AN IMPACTED CAMPUS • What does that mean for your student? • We accept students statewide • Transfer Students must have: • 60 transferable semester units (90 quarter units) • 2.0 GPA overall at the last school attended • Must complete basic skills with a C grade or better • Must complete these requirements by the spring semester for Fall admissions. • Students must meet all campus deadlines

  4. ADMISSION/ENROLLMENT DEADLINES MAY 1, 2013: Submit your Intent to Enroll via the MYCSUDH portal JANUARY 1 – MARCH 2: Complete FAFSA APRIL 15, 2013: Complete Housing Application JULY 15, 2013: Final Official Transcripts IMPORTANT We strictly adhere to deadlines

HOW WE COMMUNICATE WITH YOUR STUDENT • MyCSUDH Portal (students should be checking weekly) • U.S. MAIL • EMAIL We communicate with students in the following ways: It is crucial for students to activate their MyCSUDH account as soon as they receive their log-in information and to check their email often. This will assure that they have the most up-to-date information on Admissions, Financial Aid, Registration and Early Start Requirement .

  6. APPEAL PROCESS A written Statement which clearly and concisely presents any new and significant changes that serve as the basis for the appeal. Academic records which were not available at the time of application. If they are submitting additional academic records, their Statement should include an explanation of why the additional information was not available at the time of application. Official documentation of extenuating circumstances (for example: doctors' records, death certificates, etc.). Appeals will be reviewed within two weeks of submission. and

  7. CSUDH is not an impacted school, therefore • AA-T OR AS-T students will find their transfer to us to be seamless. • We require documentation from the community college of their AA-T OR AS-T degree status. Beyond this we do not have a special admissions process. They are required, just like any other student, to adhere to our deadlines and core requirements for transfer. AAT or AS-T TRANSFER STUDENTS
