Summary of Recommendations from NRIC VI • Best Practices – Over 600 new best practices, primarily focused in the Homeland Security area • Ten Additional Recommendations: • Mutual Aid Agreement – Has since been used by individual Companies • NCS Outreach/TSP Education – Dedicated resources within FCC to assist and partner. Starting to hear positive feedback from increased awareness • Study on Chemical and Biological agents – identified in plan for future activity • Partnership with Power Utilities – Beginning to work linkage to NERC • First Responder status – referred to Department of Homeland Security
